Green Ambassador Daler Mehndi Starts Plantation Initiative in Indore for Greenery Celebration 30/07/2019

Indore : Indian singer, songwriter, author, record producer, performer, and environmentalist Shri Daler Mehndi has taken an initiative for planting one lakh plants in this Monsoon to celebrate Greenery Celebration (Hariyali Mahotsav ).He took deep interest in Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative  for plantation awareness across the country. He participated being guest along with Shri Santosh Shukla (President, World Book of Records) for the plantation in various plantation activities in Indore including Prestige Institute of Management, BSF AND CISF On this occasion, Smt. Taranpreet Kaur Mehndi,  Usman Khan (Music Director, Mumbai) Shri Arun Tambe (DIG, BSF), Shri  K  Shrimali (Dy. Comdt., CISF), Dr. Raj Kishore Sharma (Prestige Institute of Management),Prof. Dr. Rajeev Sharma (Vice Chair, World Book of Records), Shri Santosh Shukla (President, World Book of Records), Shri Vishwabandhu Pandey (President,  With You Welfare Association (NGO)were guests of the programme.
Under Prime Minister’s initiative, Shri Daler Mehndi and his team carried out plantation of 50, 000 saplings in Indore (Madhya Pradesh) in coordination with BSF, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), World Book of Records   and With You Welfare Association (NGO).He will do more plantations in the various places of the country. 
Significantly, enthusiastic drive will be planted 5000 sapling in Bharatpur (Rajasthan), 5000 sapling in Nakodar Shahar, Jalandhar (Punjab), 10, 000 sapling in Kangara, (Himachal Pradesh), 10, 000 sapling in Haryana, 10, 000 sapling in IIMT, Meerut (Uttar Pradesh), 10, 000 sapling in Delhi. Being Green Ambassador, he will carry out activities of environment awareness to follow the initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
