Aurangabad is a city in the Aurangabad district of Maharashtra state in India. Aurangabad ("Aurang City") is named after the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. The city is a tourism hub, surrounded by many historical monuments, including the Ajanta Caves and Ellora Caves, which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites, as well as Bibi Ka Maqbara and Panchakki. The administrative headquarters of the Aurangabad Division or Marathwada region, Aurangabad is titled "The City of Gates" and the strong presence of these can be felt as one drives through the city.The City was founded in 1610 by Malik Amber which in the year 2010 completed 400 years. All India IT Association (AIITA) is one of the pioneering organizations that promote IT education across the country and it has started a study centre in Aurangabad. It is a major educational hub. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU) is located in Aurangabad city. Most of the colleges of the region are affiliated to it. The University has 101 Colleges affiliated in Aurangabad and similarly 99 Colleges in Beed, 53 & 55 Colleges affiliated in Jalna & Osmanabad. Our study centre has been promoting AIITA courses that are job-oriented along with latest cyber security and cyber crimes awareness courses. We have started promoting awareness activities through survey, seminars and leaflets so that students could inspire for such courses.Thses views were expressed by Mr. Ganesh Ashok Rane. He said that Aurangabad has schools run by the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) and private schools owned and run by trusts and individuals. Government Polytechnic Aurangabad is one of the polytecnique institutions in marathawada region. Government College of Engineering, Aurangabad is an Autonomous engineering college in Maharashtra State of India. Our centre would concentrate on students with promoting AIITA’s mission.
