Global Dialogue on Artificial Intelligence Strengthens at India AI Impact Summit 2026 10/03/2026
India AI Impact Summit 2026, hosted at Bharat Mandapam, brought together global policymakers, technology leaders, innovators, researchers, and startups to explore the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in economic growth and societal development. Organized under the IndiaAI Mission of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, the summit was held in New Delhi.
The summit highlighted India’s ambition to position itself as a global hub for responsible and inclusive artificial intelligence. Leaders from governments, technology companies, academia, and international organizations participated in discussions on AI governance, digital infrastructure, innovation ecosystems, and responsible AI deployment.
A major component of the event was the AI Impact Expo, a large-scale exhibition showcasing real-world applications of AI across industries. Spread over more than 70,000 square meters, the expo featured hundreds of exhibitors presenting cutting-edge AI technologies and innovations, providing a platform for business collaboration and policy dialogue.
Alongside global initiatives, organizations such as All India Information Technology Association continue to play an important role in strengthening India’s technology ecosystem. Established in 2007, AIITA is a non-profit organization that promotes IT education, digital literacy, cybersecurity awareness, and innovation across India. The association works with industries, professionals, and institutions to support skill development, entrepreneurship, and job-oriented training programs in emerging technologies.
Through collaborations with national and international partners, including the South Asian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, AIITA aims to encourage technological cooperation, business exchange, and knowledge sharing across South Asia. The convergence of global AI leaders, government initiatives, and technology organizations at platforms such as the India AI Impact Summit reflects the growing importance of artificial intelligence in shaping the future of innovation, digital economies, and sustainable development worldwide.
